ABSTRACT FRAME WORKSHOP

Abstract Frame is more than an art workshop.

We will share an experience together. A one-day, artistic, immersive, intellectual, warm entertaining, challenging, an unique experience.

The workshop runs for a full day (around 6 to 8 hours) and is open to everyone aged 12 and up. There are also special editions of the workshop designed for couples and for children. The main language is English, with French and Dutch available for support.

No experience or skills are needed, just the courage to create.

So, what will we do?

We’ll meet at my private studio in 1000 Brussels. We’ll draw and paint together. I’ll guide you through the process as you search, explore, design, and create your own abstract painting.

By the end of the day, you’ll leave the studio with a framed piece of abstract art work that you made yourself.

What makes this different?

In this experience you will think, feel and act as an artist.

You will create and frame and buy your own art work. You will be the artist and the owner, all at once !

At the end instead of paying a set fee for the workshop, you'll decide what your painting is worth to you. You will buy your own original art.

Once it is on your wall your people wont believe that you made it.

Workshop Schedule:

09:00 – 09:30 | Tea & Meet

We’ll begin with tea to warm up and get to know each other. I’ll share the purpose of the workshop, what to expect, and what I hope you’ll get out of it.

09:30 – 11:00 | 100 Paintings

I’ll project a curated selection of 100 abstract artworks by master artists.

We’ll dive into their techniques, styles, personal lives, and the philosophies behind their work — all to deepen your understanding of abstract art.

11:00 – 12:00 | Tools & Ideas

Time to catch the vision. Imagine your future painting. You’ll experiment with pencils, pens, brushes, ink, watercolours, acrylics and figure out what feels right for your expression.

12:00 – 12:30 | Lunch Break

Drinks are on me! Just bring your own food for the day.

12:30 – 14:00 | 100 Minutes (Part I)

You’ll begin creating your painting. Draw, explore, erase, paint, start again, get messy... Let the process and music lead you.

14:00 – 14:15 | Evaluation

We’ll place your works on the floor and reflect together. What worked, what felt right, and what you’ve discovered so far? what’s emerging, and talk about how to push it further.

14:15 – 16:00 | 100 Minutes (Part II)

Back to creating — push further with your painting and bring your vision to life.

16:00 – 16:30 | Final Break & Reflection

A short break, and then we wrap up, reflect, and prepare your work for framing.

17:00 – The end

You will buy your own art work
